Web UI & Dashboard#
Upon signing in to WatchGrid, you are taken directly to the main Dashboard. Here you can monitor infrastructure health and configure monitoring preferences.

Core Dashboard Features#
1. Agent Overview & Details#
The dashboard landing view displays all registered servers and their real-time health status. Clicking an individual agent opens its Details View, which displays hardware specifications (CPU core count, total RAM capacity in GB, total disk size) alongside historical utilization charts.
2. Maintenance Mode#
Enable maintenance mode during planned server work to suppress false alarms. No alert notifications are dispatched while maintenance is active.
Immediate Activation: Toggles maintenance mode on immediately.
Scheduled Maintenance: Define start and end timestamps. The agent will automatically mute alerts during the specified maintenance window.
3. Host Comments & Audit History#
Add custom notes and documentation to individual agents (e.g. server role, owner, or maintenance logs). Comments include timestamps and display which user last modified them.
4. Configurable Intervals & Thresholds#
Adjust metric reporting intervals, warning/alert thresholds, and maximum allowed uptime:
Global Level: In Organization settings to define a baseline across all hosts.
Agent Level: In individual agent settings for granular control over critical infrastructure.
5. Service & Port Monitoring Configuration#
Specify required systemd services (e.g. nginx, docker) and whitelisted listening ports. The agent continuously checks system state against these rules and reports anomalies.
6. User Management & Invitations#
Invite team members to your organization via email invitations. For security, newly invited users verify their email address via a registration verification link.
7. Token Management#
Create and manage multiple API tokens under your organization. Use distinct tokens for separate server fleets, departments, or environments (e.g., Production vs. Staging) and revoke tokens individually whenever necessary.
8. Incident Dashboard, Acknowledgement & SMS Cost Tracking#
When a metric exceeds threshold limits or a service fails, an incident alert is raised in the Alert Dashboard.
Acknowledgement: Manually acknowledge active alerts to visually indicate that an incident is under investigation and suppress repeated notifications.
SMS Cost Tracking & Transparency: View SMS notification usage, contract limits, and transparent billing metrics within the Organization dashboard.
9. Reporting & PDF Exports#
The Reporting Dashboard visualizes availability, uptime SLA, and incident statistics using interactive charts. Export professional PDF reports for management or clients with a single click.
